Animal Crossing: New Leaf is the fourth main game title in the popular life simulation Animal Crossing series. The player character is a human villager who moves to a town full of anthropomorphic animals and is eventually able to become mayor. The game is played in real-time based on the internal clock in the 3DS and this has an effect on the in-game events like seasons and holidays.
