Gone Home, a first-person interactive adventure game developed by Fullbright, focuses on the exploration of a mansion in Portland, Oregon in 1995. Users assume the first person POV of Kaitlin. As Kaitlin, a 21-year-old whose family was willed a mysterious estate with a shadowy reputation, players view objects in the game via mouse movements and move using the keyboard. Gone Home has no set objective, but players are rewarded for discovering new information through thorough exploration. Discovering a single object can open up additional areas of the house.
