Phantasy Star II is a sequel to Phantasy Star, released for the Master System. It has received a great deal of acclaim and was the first game to take advantage of the 6-megabit cartridge format. In the game, the player controls a team of government agents who are trying to find out why Mother Brain, the protector of the planet Mota, is malfunctioning.
