Day of the Tentacle is a sequel to 1987’s Maniac Mansion. The three playable characters are Bernard, Hoagie, and Laverne. In this game, the main characters attempt to defeat Purple Tentacle, a creation of mad scientist Dr. Fred, but are sent back in time in the process.
