Tales of Monkey Island, LucasArts/Telltale Games’ 2009 graphic adventure game, is the fifth in the Monkey Island series and came out nearly a decade after Escape from Monkey Island, its predecessor. Tales was published in five serial-esque segments. Players control pirate Guybrush Threepwood who inadvertently releases a voodoo plague across the Gulf of Melange while attempting to take down his nemesis, the undead pirate LeChuck. During gameplay, Guybrush seeks a cure with the assistance of his wife, Elaine Marley-Threepwood.
