Valkyria Chronicles, a tactical role-playing game developed for PlayStation 3 and Windows, is loosely inspired by the early years of World War II in Europe. The fictional, neutral nation of Gallia within Europa has an abundance of Ragnite ore and is attacked by the East Europan Imperial Alliance, itself embroiled in a heated conflict with the Atlantic Federation. Players control a unit of the Gallian military, including male and female snipers, scouts, tank commanders, more with the end goal of triumphantly pushing back the EEIA’s invasion.
