Inspired in part by a conversation between Edward Snowden and pundit John Oliver, Cobra Club is erotic game developer Robert Yang’s freeware take on dick pics, sites like Critique My Dick Pic, selfie culture, online hookup sites, the frequency of politicians disastrously sharing below the belt snapshots, and the climate of social media in general. Game action occurs entirely in a bathroom. Players assume the role of a man who wants to take the best ever smartphone photo of his penis to send potential conquests, and through assorted game settings (Instagram-esque filters, for example) adjust their genital avatars accordingly.
