Looking Back tells the story of Kris, a graduate student at the University of Toronto who must write and defend their PhD thesis. In order to successfully get through this hard and tedious process, Kris must stay in good mental health and develop relationships with allies that will provide them support. The player has the possibility to trigger good and bad memories and to explore Kris’s dreams. The game is a negotiation between looking back and looking forward.
