Night in the Woods is a story-based 2D Adventure game that follows 20 year old Mae Borowski as she returns to her hometown of Possum Springs after dropping out of college. The game’s story changes based on who of Mae’s two closest friends, Bea and Gregg, the player chooses to spend their time with. Gameplay consists of exploring the Possum Springs as Mae, as well as interacting with/forming relationships with other residents of the town. These interactions are centered around unraveling the mystery of what forces lurk in the woods outside of town.
