X-Com is a video game franchise launched in 1994, and rebooted in 2012 by 2K Games. The 2013 release, ​The Bureau: XCOM Declassified​ is a third person tactical shooter set in the United States in 1962, during the Cold War. In the game, earth is being invaded by aliens (the “Outsiders”) and the player-character, William Carter, must lead a team of agents through various missions in order to prevent the Outsiders from taking over.
