What Remains of Edith Finch, an adventure game developed by Giant Sparrow, focuses on the exploration of the home of the Finch family (thought to have a family curse) on the Orcas Islands off the coast of the state of Washington. As the player-character (whose identity is revealed at the end of the game) who takes a Ferry to Orcas Islands with Edith Finch’s journal in their possession, players move throughout the story as told by Edith. Players interact with objects in the house, unlocking stories about each member of the Finch family, the family curse, and ways to get to other sections of the house.
