Hugging Elite in Halo: Combat Evolved

A 2006 Games.Net video titled “Ten Ambiguously Gay Game Characters” listed The Arbiter from Halo 2 as clearly gay because in one scene he is shown hugging a marine. Further research indicates that this scene was actually a cut scene that appears at the end of Halo: Combat Evolved and Anniversary, and does not include the Arbiter. Moreover, the player can only see it if they complete The Maw on Legendary difficulty. A video of this scene is below.
