Operator 6O in NieR Automata

Much of this information was submitted via email, with some minor edits and additional sources added as necessary.

In NieR: Automata (2017) there is a scene where a support character named 6O, a female android, tells the main character that she asked another female android out on a date and was rejected. She also seems to have feelings for the main character 2B and there’s a side quest where 2B can collect photos of flowers to send to her (as 6O lives on a space station and can’t come to Earth herself).
