Gender in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD for the player characters is quite fluid, as immediately upon character creation, the character you will create is referred to with they/them pronouns. You’re also given the above screen, telling you to create a character that represents you by choosing any available appearance as well as the voice of the character. You can change your appearance, voice, and name, at any time while playing the game, providing players with options to explore gender. The game also refers to you and any of your teammates with they/them pronouns at all times, no matter what appearance you pick.
