The homoerotic nature of their rivalry has been mentioned by some fans and concept art for the game, shown above, portrays Eve suggestively nibbling Aya’s ear. This art has been discussed for its sexual implications. In addition, some fans have explored Aya’s sexuality outside of Eve.
