Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura is a role-playing video game released in 2001. The game is nonlinear and employs isometric projection. The player finds her or himself in a fantasy world called Arcanum, which is undergoing industrial revolution. The player is the only survivor of a crash, and throughout the game they need to find an owner of a mysterious golden ring, while navigating a dichotomy of magic and technology.
