Gender Swapping in Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender

The Cosmic Gender Bender is a machine developed by the women of the planet that Rex has crashed on in the game. It allows the Keepers to change into biological men for short periods of time so they may impregnate the Stock women. This is described as “unpleasant” for the women, however, and because it “wears off at unpredictable times” there are apparently “awkward moments” (image below). Moreover, the Stock women don’t think much of the “transmorphs” who have used the Gender Bender. The scene showing this backstory can be viewed here.

In an effort to escape, Rex stumbles into the Gender Bender and is changed into a woman (images below). The full scene can be viewed here.

After completing tasks to help him escape the planet (which is only halfway through the game), Rex changes back to a man in a scene which can be viewed here.
