Same-Sex Flirtations in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

In Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, female player-characters can flirt with, seduce, and in one instance have sex with female non-player characters (with the exception of characters in Giovanni’s Mansion– see here and here). For instance, male and female player-characters can have sex with the non-player character Jeanette, provided certain in-game conditions are met. The sex is only implied through voice-acting over a black screen, however. A video of this scene can be viewed here. Players can also hire sex workers who they kiss and then drink the blood of, as seen in this video.

Male PCs cannot, for the most part, flirt with male NPCs, and there are no male same-sex sex options. There are official game patches that re-enable the bisexuality of two male NPCs (the clerk at the Empire Hotel and Phil, according to this forum thread). There is also reportedly a mod that makes the character Romero bisexual (though none seem to be available any longer). Players have complained that this means there are generally more flirtation options for female PCs (here, here, and here).
