Azami Koshiba is a character in Hatoful Boyfriend and the only female centered story path in the game. She’s a Java sparrow that rides a pink scooter and is an excellent fighter, capable of performing a powerful move called a “sparrow kick”. With the right choices, the player can help her fight off a group of “punkgeons” using the sparrow kick taught to her by Azami. After this, Azami declares the player a “true sparrow” and the two start a biker gang that refuses to break any traffic laws. The end of this path never crosses the line into explicit romance, but the closeness of the two characters and their interactions (like the one in the featured image) are noteworthy.
