Miranda is an NPC who works as a councilwoman. She is a long-time friend of the protagonist, Marcus, and helps Dedsec in their mission to take down the central Operating System and the corrupt company behind it. She is explicitly trans — in the game, she mentions that the religious group Church of the New Dawn hacked her medical records and released footage of her genital reassignment surgery to the public.
