Rachel Amber is a major character in Life is Strange and is the deuteragonist of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Although her relationship with Chloe is quite ambiguous in the first game, there are various hints towards Chloe having feelings for her. In Life is Strange: Before the Storm, she is a possible romance option for the player character, Chloe Price. However, because of how Rachel is characterized as being manipulative and mysterious, it is less clear whether Rachel reciprocated Chloe’s feelings. She also keeps her relationship with Frank Bowers a secret from Chloe, as well as her relationship with Mark Jefferson.
In the Life is Strange comics take place in the timeline where Max decides to save Chloe and Arcadia Bay is destroyed. The two continue to be romantically involved. However, later on in the comics, Max enters a timeline where Rachel never died and is dating Chloe.
