Quique Montemayor is a minor character in Red Dead Redemption, most commonly appearing as a waiter as well as an assistant to Vincente de Santa, a major character. He has flamboyant mannerisms and flirts with Vincente de Santa whenever they are together. De Santa and Montemayor seems to be openly in an intimate relationship, and many of the game’s major characters’ comment on it. de Santa is also known to flirt with women in the game, which implies that he may be bisexual, but Montemayor is only shown to be interested in de Santa.
After de Santa is killed, a main character comments that “a lot of young boys will sleep safe in their beds.” At one point in the game, de Santa is also referred to with the word “Mariconcito” which roughly translates to “queer”. Some fans have discussed their alluded relationship with mixed opinions.
