Chika is a fellow werewolf in Moonrise. She is a romanceable cis lesbian character, and it is implied she is Japanese. As the leader of the Rogue faction and the top student in the player character’s medical internship, Chika has a lot on her plate. Other characters describe her as cold and beautiful, if a not a bit eerie. Yet there’s some hints at deep emotion under her icy mask.
Chika’s character pays homage to many tropes of manga, particularly yuri. Her looks, tsundere attitude, and intense personality draw from the character Sachiko Ogasawara in Maria Watches Over Us (Maria-sama ga Miteru) series by Oyuki Konno and Reine Hibiki as well as the character of Mistress Kikyo in Rumiko Takahashi’s Inuyasha.
