There are a few popular queer readings of characters in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia that do not have conclusive evidence to suggest implied or explicit content. If you have other queer readings you think belong in this post, please let us know. The ones we have found are listed below:

Conrad is a playable character in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia who has an ending that uses the gender-neutral “suitors,” which fans have taken to possibly hint towards both male and female suitors. Some read this as a hint that he may be gay, while others read his rejection of these suitors and not marrying as him being asexual, as seen in the linked GameFAQS thread.

Kamui is a playable character in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia who has a support conversation with Leon where he asks about Leon’s taste in men. Leon jokes about Kamui not being his type and asking if Kamui is trying to get him to hit on him and Kamui uncomfortably rejects the idea. Some fans have read this as Kamui being possibly interested in Leon, while others read it as a straight man interested in how his gay friend sees men (both views found here).

Python and Forsyth are playable characters in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Python has been read by fans as queer as he calls Lukas a ginger stud in the English localization (which is different in the original Japanese dialogue), as well as changing his life drastically if Forsyth dies (as seen in his ending). Forsyth has also been read by fans as queer as Forsyth only gets married if Python dies.
