Lukas is a playable character in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. A DLC pack added a support chain to the game between Lukas and Python, another playable character. In it, Python expresses jealousy that all the ladies in town keep asking him who the knight in red (Lukas) is. Lukas then tells Python about how he courted a woman “for many a year” back home. In their A support, Lukas expresses that since he parted ways with her, he doesn’t feel any longing to see her again. It’s then that he says, “I sometimes wonder if a vital part of me is broken”. Python supports him by saying that the “one true love” thing isn’t for everyone, and that Lukas can take it at his own pace.
This has been read by others to hint at Lukas being asexual or aromantic, as the “being broken” part appears often in asexual/aromantic representation. Because of this, we have classified him as Asexual Implicit and Aromantic Implicit.
