Zer0 is a playable character in Borderlands 2, who fulfills the Assassin class role. While he uses he/him pronouns in the game, some fans have read him as non-binary due to his ambiguous gender (not to mention that his race and species are ambiguous in the game as well). Additionally, Randy Pitchford (CEO of Gearbox Software) refers to Zer0 using gender neutral pronouns on this panel from PAX 2014.
