Brick is a playable character in Borderlands (he ends up being an NPC in other Borderlands titles), who fulfills the Berserker role during combat. Anthony Burch (a former Gearbox writer for the series) has stated that Brick was intentionally never given lines indicating interest in women, and he also references a line in Borderlands 2 where Brick encourages a female character to keep undressing another male character.
