Athena and Janey in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

Athena and Janey Springs are reoccurring characters in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Tales from the Borderlands. Athena is first encountered as a playable character in The Pre-Sequel, and Janey flirts with her on more than one occasion during various campaigns. During True Vault Hunter Mode in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!, Tiny Tina asks whether or not Athena ever hung out with Janey implying that they must have hooked up and demanding a high-five. After a moment of embarrassed silence, Athena gives Tina a high-five confirming her speculation. In Tales from the Borderlands, Athena and Janey are explicitly in a relationship and live together. One dialogue option leads to the two women confirming that they are going to get married soon.
