In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there is one known explicitly queer couple that appears specifically in the Dragonborn DLC. If the player finds a love letter from Bjornolfr to Hrodulf and reads Hrodulf’s journal entries and his letter to Bjornolfr, a situation in which the two of them tried to meet but both died in the process is revealed. This situation is explained in both this video and this LiveJournal post.
