LGB Love-meet.net Users in Grand Theft Auto IV

In Grand Theft Auto IV, during the “Out of the Closet” mission, Niko is forced to create a dating profile on love-meet.net. He uses this profile to trick Tom Rivas into meeting him so he can kill him. After that mission, Niko can contact other users on the site, though none of the male users will actually date him and only two female users will (full list of users available here). Below are the characters whose profiles indicate they are homosexual or bisexual (excluding Tom Rivas and  Bryce Dawkins, who is possibly behind the username Troy Harder), as well as characters whose profiles players read as indicating they are homosexual or bisexual.

Oscar Wild indicates he is straight and looking for a female companion, but his description of his ideal woman is one “who isn’t too girly.” He also wants a woman with a brother he can go fishing with and enjoys being in clubs with large numbers of men. Finally, his name is a reference to the famous Irish writer Oscar Wilde, who was imprisoned for homosexuality in the late 19th century.

NoBigWillie’s profile states that he is gay (the only one besides Tom Riva’s to do so).

Matte Black is an art student who doesn’t “want to be put in some ‘category.'”

SoboHoe’s (aka Carmen Ortiz) profile indicates she is a “free spirit” but all her profile indicates has an interest in men. That said, she dances suggestively with Elizabeta Torres at one point in the game. She is one of the two dateable characters from the site.

Miss Understood is another user whose profile indicates a “flexible” sexuality, but whose profile emphasizes she is looking to meet men.

Jennifun’s profile indicates her sexuality is “I prefer cuddling,” which may imply she is asexual (but it is unclear).
