El Burro appears in the original Grant Theft Auto (GTA I) game. He is one of the characters who gives missions to the protagonist. He is explicitly gay, and Mexican. A character with the same name and features appears in Grand Theft Auto III, but it is unclear if they are meant to be the same character (or if both are homosexual). A younger, thinner character named El Burro also appears in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. The video below shows this character in GTA I, and the voice is quite different from the (unseen) El Burro in GTA III heard here.
